If your personal belongings were damaged as a result of the accident and you had to bear the costs of repair or replacement, or if you incurred expenses using personal funds during the course of the case such as travel expenses, medical treatment, medication costs, car rental, postage, or telephone expenses, these losses will be reimbursed by the party at fault. However, reimbursement will be granted only if the expenses are justified, and you have the necessary invoices/receipts as evidence.
In cases involving severe injuries like limb fractures or head/brain injuries, where the duration of the claim statistically exceeds 12 months, you have the option to apply for an interim payment. The remaining compensation, taking into account the interim payment, will be paid to you upon the conclusion of the case. It's important to note that this is only possible if the party at fault has fully admitted responsibility for the incident.
