The company’s payment for services rendered is due at the conclusion of the process. The payment is capped at 25% of the total compensation amount received. It’s important to note that compensation for future losses, such as earnings and care costs, is not subject to withholding. As per the changes in law implemented on 31st May 2021, participants in road traffic accidents involving 4-wheeled vehicles may be liable to pay 40% service fees if their settlement amount is below £5,000.00.
It's crucial to mention that this particular rule does not apply to pedestrians, motorcyclists, cyclists, or users of personal moving devices such as scooters. For these individuals, the payment structure remains capped at 25% of the total compensation amount received.
If the settlement amount exceeds £5,000.00, participants in road traffic accidents involving 4-wheeled vehicles will still pay only 25% for the services.
